Victoria Peemot presents in the Spinal Memory online lecture series
Our senior researcher Victoria Soyan Peemot will participate in Spinal Memory, an international online lecture series that explores the entangled lives of humans and non-human animals across art, literature, film and archives.

Event description
Our senior researcher Victoria Soyan Peemot (University of Helsinki) will give a lecture on 10 October 2026 as part of Spinal Memory, an online series organised by te magazine, published by te editions, a curatorial and publishing collective based in New York and Beijing.
Spinal Memory explores the entangled lives of humans and non-human animals across art, literature, film and archives. Bringing together diverse perspectives and approaches, the series invites participants to reflect on multispecies relations, memory and ways of knowing.
Peemot’s lecture “Horses and Songs: Multispecies Rhythm and Voice in Inner Asia” forms part of the programme running from 10 October to 8 November and will take place online via Zoom.
