Martta Alajärvi
Martta Alajärvi is a communication specialist in the Centre of Excellence and a PhD researcher in the Faculty of Law at the University of Lapland, Finland. Her research focuses on Sámi people’s rights in the energy transition, use of natural resources, and the regulatory challenges and opportunities of a just transition. Prior to her law studies, Martta worked as a journalist at Finnish Broadcasting Company’s Saami-language branch, Yle Sápmi.
